If you travel on PA Route 222 in Fleetwood, there's a tiny shop called "The Repair Guy" with a slogan that says "Yes we do that." The other day, I was on my way to Loyola University - Maryland and took this back road to enjoy the scenery. It's quite noticeable that farmers have already ploughed and seeded the land. Soon they will be expecting a harvest. What has this got to do with the stock market? you ask.

Vehicles are constantly in need of oil change, windshield wipers, and all sorts of repair. We usually don't just ignore car problems and let go. If you do, it may cost you more than a handful. The stocks market will sometimes correct itself and bear down on your portfolio. In a sense, it becomes moody. When your portfolio is all red and screeching "sell" it may require some repair. You could perhaps cut the number of stocks, diversify, clean up on failed companies or develop skills that can help you plan, review and improvise. Take a class and challenge yourself.

Farmers

All the farmers off PA Route 222 WON'T keep checking whether the seeds are seeded properly. They've done the work and trust the process. You too can keep off the investing Apps and be patient. Think long-term.
